Aithne Cauci
The clan had finally made their camp at the edge of the forest of life, named so as it holds the greatest of oaks in it's woods. Aithne skipped up to the nearest tree and rubbed her hand along it's bark, she could feel the natural energy surging through it, it was stronger than ever before. "Mother!" She shouted back to the other Druids and Druidesses as they marched toward the forest. "I can feel the energy, it's so pure and beautiful. " It was Aithne's first time to the Forest of Life, every druid must make the pilgrimage to the forest. Aithne ran deep Into the forest on her own.
The other druids swiftly caught up with her and formed the camp, using their nature magic they made the canopy above them into shelters and lit fires. The High Druidess then approached her daughter, "Aithne, my child, it's time." Aithne then followed her mother into the forest with 3 other druids. They approached the great oak and all knelt before it. "We kneel before the great oak, the greatest portal to our world from your heaven. We sing to the great ones and give our lives to you." Aithne's mother announced before the tree.
Oh, sweet mother, you see all we do and hear what we say before we, grant us this gift of your universal sight.
Oh, swift hunter, you hear the animals harmonic voices and can speak hem too, grant us this gift of your musical tongue.
Oh, pure pixie, you command the great nature we love, grant us this gift of your natural dance.
Oh, vengeful warlord, you command the great skies and all it's moods, grant us this gift of your powerful voice.
Oh, beautiful maiden, you hold every man captive with your beauty and clear skin, grant us this gift of your sweet skin.
Oh, lovely sister, you bless us with love and family, grant us this gift of your marrying voice.
Oh, strong harvester, you bestow health to our crops and people, grant us this gift of your healing breath.
The druids all rose together as they felt the surge of the natural powers, the high druidess rose with them and her face was as serious as ever. "This gift from the gods is as unpredictable as it is powerful, as dangerous as they are beautiful. Respect this gift or suffer the consequences." Aithne nodded to her mother before going of on her own. She delved deep into the forest and started dancing, flowers started to bloom at her feet as she danced, she then threw her arm out and the flowers launched forwards, shooting out thorns that pierced the first tree they came into contact with.
