Aleph's face was just about as bright red as a beet upon hearing the question that Faith had asked. Enough so that he temporarily forgot about finding a place for just a moment. He stood silent for a second, thinking of some way to answer it without looking like a dweeb. "Oh uh... I guess, yeah. I mean, if you wish it....."
He, of course, failed to do so.
It wasn't like he ever dated before. Actually, in this world, relationships were hard to come by nowadays. Not everyone got a wife and child, so he'd consider Philip pretty lucky back then, maybe not so much now. Anyway, it was more of a problem of experience. He knew he had feelings for the young Sapien, who, even though he confessed to being a ex-murder, accepted him for who he was. But maybe there was a shy part of the man, who just felt silly when actually calling her and he a couple. But when he thought about why she was asking him this, Aleph nodded. "Yeah, yeah we are." he said confidently thereafter. The fact that she said she wanted to travel with him, and how she gave him a (sorta) kiss-ish thing meant that she probably wanted this as well. That, and because she was asking the question in the first place. She wanted his confirmation. "But we'll be a couple of dead bodies soon if we don't set up shelter for the night. As Oreron stated, this bar looks good enough. We can still lock the doors and find an area to lay down."
Aleph raised an eyebrow for a moment at the exiting Faith. "So you can come back in."
"Anyway, I guess since you two were so curious about the armor I wore, I shall return to wearing it." Aleph moved his hand into the torn pocket of his pants and pulled out some device, about the size of a book, and pressed a button on it before placing it on the floor. In what seemed like an instant, Aleph's trademark armor was on the floor in its place, as well as his old blade.
Aleph began putting the armor on over his clothes.
"I'm afraid I'm more nocturnal than I previously was, so I cannot see myself going to sleep very soon. What are the plans of either of you?" He asked.
Damn, he really needed to get his accent back.
