It was getting late, probably around nine o'clock, and the members of Dead by Default were finishing up getting everything onto one of the two buses in the lot. They had everything they needed loaded, instruments, amplifiers and whatnot, and now were able to bring their suitcases up onto their designated bus and pick out the bunks they wanted. This wasn't because they hadn't gotten a bus yet, because they definitely had, this was just a bigger one that would better accommodate them for the year. Which, they all appreciated. Kaige had made sure he, his stuff (and Milo's stuff), was at the front of the line to get on (with only a little bit of pushing involved). The man put his suitcase on a top bunk that was the furthest back and put Milo's on the bunk below it.

The younger had tried to move it to another upper bunk instead, but after a playful spat with the singer, he gave in. "Fine," he started with a little sigh, "just be glad that I like you so much." Milo said somewhat teasingly before he turned around and made his way back down the little hallway and then off of the bus again. They weren't leaving for a little while longer still, and the boy wanted to be outside for as long as he could until then. He was alone at first for a while, leaned up against the side of the vehicle near the door and kind of just listening to everyone on the inside talk, putting in comments when he thought was necessary or when someone addressed him.

It wasn't long before Kaige was with him though and he didn't take long to cuddle up into the other's side, sighing contentedly. "You're not hungry are you?" the singer questioned quietly so that anyone who didn't need to hear, didn't. The other boy shook his head as a reply before he spoke, "No, I'm fine." he assured, offering just a little smile as a kind of form of extra convincing. "Well, if you get hungry just let me know." Kaige informed and the other nodded this time and held back a comment about how the other was acting like his dad, fussing over him like that. He was glad for it though. Especially since he knew that the man really didn't have to let him feed on him, which, he knew was the other was going to do since he did it often. Some times were just slightly involuntary of course.

They changed the subject after that, talking about the tour instead. They were both excited, but everyone was, because they hadn't done anything this big yet. They might be a little more excited if they were getting to do this alone of course, but they took what they were given without much protest to the people who gave them the opportunity. Amongst themselves though, it was a bit of a different story.

"Ten more minutes." the pair was informed before too long. They both agreed though that they probably would be here for longer than that.
