Nathaniel groaned a bit when Jennifer dragged him across the street. "Do we really need to do this?" He whined but never really putting up any resistance to get loose from her grip. He had made a success in work and his sister wanted to celebrate it. Even if it was in the middle of the week, she wanted to celebrate him and he knew what that meant. A killer hangover in the morning and remembering half of what happen during the night. But, he couldn't really deny her really. They were close siblings and he had done the same thing for her when she had finally become a professor.

"Oh come on Nath. We need to do this! And you'll love it, you know that." Jennifer said but tugged on his arm when he slowed down. "Don't walk like a snail, we want to grab this night when it's young." She cheered and then hooked her arm around his elbow. She always felt like she could relax whenever she was around her brother. He always tolerated her strict ways but was never afraid to tell her when she became too much, especially when she was really stressed because of her work at school. His calm ways made her calm down and it was a huge help for her.

"I know, I know. But it's in the middle of the week! They'll kill me at work if I come with a killer hangover." Nathaniel said and then sighed, walking a bit faster to satisfy his sister. "I'll tell them that my dictator of a sister forced me to drink. Do you think they'll believe me?" He asked with a chuckle and raised an eyebrow at her.

Jennifer snorted. "Never, but I don't really care. We are going to celebrate this day and that's it. So stop with that grumpy face and smile more. Come on, I'm supposed to be the grumpy one, I have a shit load of work waiting for me at home." She said and elbowed him in the side. Nathaniel just shook his head at his sister but smiled at her.

It didn't take them long to come to The End of the Line, with it's Open neon sign. Jennifer let go of Nathaniel to walk to the bar, taking a seat and put on her best smile. "Jack! The love of my life, the saviour of my day or night, both I'd like to say! Bring up the good stuff. My baby brother have made a great success in his life!" She said cheerful.

Jack just shook his head and brought up two whiskey glasses. "Whiskey then?" He asked before pouring them a few ounces of Old Pulteney in each glass. "So what great success are you celebrating?"

Jennifer grinned at Jack. "We are celebrating that my brother manage to get through an idea at his work. Will affect the city in the future." She said as Nathaniel plopped down on the seat next to her. He took the glass and held it up to clink it against Jennifers glass before taking a sip from the whiskey but at his sisters glare he took another bigger mouth of whiskey and savoured the smooth but burning feeling down his throat.

"There we go, don't think I am going to let you get out from here without help to stand on your two legs." She said with a grin, a wink and downed her glass and then asked for a fill up. Nathaniel just sighed and downed his also, placed his glass on the counter and took a sip when it had been filled up.
"I have no doubt at all that you'll manage that Jenny." He said with a smile.
