He felt himself being lifted while he "slept". Smelling fire he thought the bandits were going to burn him which some people may do to vampires still. He didn't really know what was going on as much when he's awake. He felt though his body being lifted from the ground he thought maybe Max or ally had come already, he thought "What great timing" as he went in and out of consciousness, he saw Lilly peering down at him, was he back at the school? He didn't think so he saw the dark sky above her head. He hopes that she's ok and wasn't captured as well.

As he awoke, he saw they were away from the bandits and he was in Lilly's arms. He looked around seeing as the bandits camp was slightly on fire as they all moved around trying to put it out. He sat up regaining from Dizziness from being knocked out. looking at Lilly, he said to her "Are you alright? Is Max or Ally with you? He said as he rubbed his head in confusion. He cracked his neck from being sore from laying like he was for a bit. Deriz watched them scramble "Think they know where we are? Sitting with his legs crossed he fixed his sitting position to be more comfortable. he watched as the grabbed buckets of water and towels that were wet to put it out. That made him smile. They were more afraid of fire than he was, sure it could burn anything but it kills vampires faster than it kills humans.

Seeing Max flying low towards them he landed behind Deriz, and kneeled down Ally did the same. Once the both landed Max asked "You two okay? Deriz nodded, he was fine now. Ally looked at deriz and saw a little scrape that may need some stitches, it wasn't bleeding yet but if he gets another blow to the head it will. Ally put a hand on his shoulder, "You'll need that scar checked out, when we get back and know it's safe. Deriz nodded. Looking back at Ally, he then remembered what their leader had said. That made his heart drop, he wanted to punch him right in the face, and kill him. But he couldn't right now he needed a surprise attack. It made Deriz angry as well, he just needed to cool down.

He got up and flew off knowing it wasn't the best idea but he needed to be alone right now. He flew down to the other side of the forest and sat by a pond, knowing he needed alone time, he shielded himself from everyone, looking down into the pond, seeing a reflection of his sister which made a tear go down his face. He began to cry, hoping no one would come over. He couldn't hold in in anymore he had to let it all out.
