She was the only one of his children that remained unmarried. Nobody wanted to be near her, let alone marry her. But he hoped that there was one person, someone, anyone, that could earn her friendship. He was taken from his thoughts by a rapping at the door. It was his assistant, Cort. "Sir, you have a visitor.
