"Though I did see a few villagers celebrating. It appears a wedding was unfolding." Guin smiled. It was hard for her to think that people still found joy - she certainly did not, unless a cup of ale was to accompany it - but this was wonderful news to her. To see that people could still celebrate small wonders.
"Humans seem to have a...natural need for love. As if some of us cannot make a day without dreaming of the one whom they shall one day meet." Her eyes wandered for a moment, and she lifted her hands to tug at her braid. "I fear it may take a while for a dragon to understand the human way of love, as I'm certain it will take me a while to understand a dragon's way of life, will it not?" She laughed, feeling her spirits rise as if through a Creator-diverted act.
"Well, I have to admit, it is early... But I'm in need of something to eat." She smiled, embarrassed, at this. It must not be too long after I ate last... Or was it? Can I even remember? "Care to join me? I'm sure we could find something more suited to your tastes."
