"Dark dragons are one of the only dragons that are solitary creatures...we are left on our own when we are born..." Guin hid a frown, hoping it wasn't as evident as she could, though she knew it would most likely be of no use; he could sense her emotions, could he not? So why would Shadow care as much as if she had hid it, or if she had not? She tried to ignore that, and listened closely again.
"Though maybe...dark dragons such as I are not meant to exist. We come from darkness, and nothing else..."
"I feel as though many of us were not meant to exist," she sighed in response. "Though, we would never know the difference, would we?" She curtseyed deeply to Shadow as he opened the door. "Thank you. I believe it will be nice to once more forget about-"
Guin felt her skin shiver softly against a bray behind her, and turned around slowly, casting a sideways glance to Shadow. As if he would know what was going on. She bit her lip impatiently when she saw that her 'good friend' Lucius arrived. And was holding a small gift, it appeared. She held it lightly as it was pushed towards her, slowly leaning closer to sniff at it, wondering what could possibly be inside that would make her want to open it.
"But away from my digressions, unicorn tradition and all state that I'm to give gifts to my enemies on this day, at least the ones still alive, and ask for a meal together as a form of peacemaking, if only for a day."
"I..." She looked back at Shadow, shrugging her shoulders softly. "I'll leave this one up to you, really. I don't think I mind too much whether he joins us or not... And he doesn't look like he'll eat our faces off at any given moment." Guin pondered for a moment, then added, "Though we'll probably have to clear the hall of any soldiers. I don't think they would take too kindly."
