Grayson looked up some with a bright smile plastered on his expression. He stared out into the forest, taking in every aspect of his surroundings. The Winter was probably his favourite time of the year because of how beautiful the areas in and surrounding the town could be. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and just like that, any magical feeling surrounding him was completely sucked dry. A small frown crept onto his face and caused his brows to lower considerably. He pulled the phone from his pocket and decided to take the call. It was from his mother anyway and she'd probably have a heart attack if he started ignoring her; she was over-protective that way.

"Hello," he said, his voice just as cheery as his previous expression. "Dear God, child, where the hell have you been? I've been worried sick!" she exclaimed, causing him to move the phone away from his ear some as she screamed on at him as per usual. "Okay... Well-... Yeah, okay, I'll be home soon." He lowered the phone with a small sigh before placing it back in his pocket. So much for spending his day outside; his mother was requesting him home for dinner...

His mother was waiting in the hallway for him when he got home and before he could remove his thick coat, scarf and hat she wrapped her arms around him. He rolled his eyes. "Seriously... I do this every day, what's your problem?" he muttered and she shot him a look that said 'did you honestly just ask me that?' Almost instantly afterwards, he regretted asking. It was a sensitive topic for both of them. "...Nope," he whispered to himself, before closing his eyes some. It was a terrible habit of his. "When's dinner then?" he asked and his mother turned her head towards the kitchen. "Soon."

Elise pulled up outside of the surprisingly small motel in the car she had rented for her stay in Ashwick. Just driving through the town itself, she could tell it was a small little area, but she absolutely refused to walk around in the snow all of the time so a Volkswagen Beetle seemed like her best option. Plus, she'd underestimated just how cold it was going to be in this place, and so she hadn't necessarily packed the best Winter gear. A few jackets, boots and scarves but even with all of that she'd still be freezing to death outside. With a sigh she stepped out of her vehicle, only to be greeted by an extremely cheery-looking young male. Elise couldn't help but smile as he offered to take her luggage and carried it inside as she locked her car door and followed him in.

Once inside, she was lead to a desk. Sat behind it was a rather unenthusiastic woman with hair light red hair tied back scruffily. She looked up at Elise without lifting her head and let out a sigh. "Can I ask your name?" she asked, her voice monotonous. "Elise... Mauvie," Elise replied and the woman nodded her head some, before standing and retrieving one of the keys from the very few pegs on the wall behind her. She then passed the key to Elise and sat back down, her head lowering again as if her attention had been drawn again to the newspaper lay on her desk.

"If you'll follow me, Elise," spoke the boy who had retrieved her luggage and without another word, she followed him up the stairs, down the hall and then into the first room on the right of the hallway.

The room itself looked amazing, coloured in mainly greys, whites and blacks. The furniture was fairly simple; a desk, bed, wardrobe, bedside table and a door on one side of the room which seemingly lead to her own private bathroom. She loved it already and knew that after three whole months she probably wouldn't want to leave. Her own bedroom at home was nowhere near as beautiful as this one, but then again she couldn't necessarily afford the greatest things with the wages she earned from stripping off her clothes.

When the clothes she'd brought had been packed away properly, she shoved her suitcase underneath the bed and walked back downstairs to see if any of her friends had arrived yet.
