Dale
Peering out the misted window of the pee smelling cab, Dale was trying to memorize each street and each location as they drove past. He had a good memory and it was likely that he would memorize at least seventy percent of the rout just by driving through it once, far more than the average mind could comprehend. He was a genius, although that wasn't the term most people used to describe him. He wasn't afraid, he was confident he knew what he was doing as always, he had made a plan in his head which he was aiming to follow. 'Stay here until I have enough money to buy a place of my own', that was his plan although without a job he knew it wasn't going to be straightforward however he had already figured that out too, he was aiming to start looking as soon as possible, the next day.
The cab came to a stop in front of the large house, all the houses in America were large compared to the houses he was used to back in England although this house was much larger than the normal big houses American people lived in. Dale took a moment to study the architecture of the house and the drapes handing in the window, it was an elderly woman's home, he knew by just looking at the state of the garden and the house and the colour of the curtains. That didn't bother him to much, at least conversation elderly people was satisfactory to him and not half as annoying as trying to talk to some-one his age who is most likely lying or has no idea what they are saying.
"Twenty dollars please" the rough voice of the cabbie who had evidently smoked far too many cigarettes that he needed to over the course of his life and most likely some illegal substances also. Dale returned his attention to the cab driver and slipped his hand in his pocket and pulled out the money then passed it through to the driver.
"Thanks" Dale replied although he was more interested it looking at the house than talking with the driver. He climbed out the taxi door and walked around to the boot, popped it open and hauled out a large black suitcase with a padlock on the zip. There was a loud thud on the ground before the thud of the cab boot. He pulled the handle up and started wheeling it towards the house. His arrival would had no gone unnoticed because his suitcase wheels made a lot of noise on the path as he made his way towards the front door.
Three consecutive knocks on the front door, he stood waiting and trying to peer through the living room window from standing at the front door. His bag was positioned neatly down at his side as he waited, dressed in a full suit as if he was going to a meeting. He didn't know how to dress for the occasion, he wanted to look smart to show he was a clean and tidy person, he didn't want to wear his casual clothes as that would had made him look snobbish in his opinion although his snobbish clothes also looked smart.
