The young man shifted this way and that, trying to get relaxed. It was bothering him slightly how uncomfortable he was and now that the couch was out of the picture, it seemed that he would just have to fight for the right to sleep. He started grumbling but another voice broke the silence - the girl.

Taking a second before answering, he internalized her voice; it wasn't too loud and, to him, it was soft but not too soft - it was reminiscent of the type of voice heard in a lullaby. Her voice wasn't half-bad but having been in the company of trained singers while they sang their greatest song, the grand finale, he knew he'd heard better.

"Jordyn McTosh. You can call me Jordyn." He didn't bother opening his eyes to see who she was talking to but raised his arm so she would identify the voice with him.
At her following question though, Jordyn's eyes fluttered open and he shot her a look that was puzzled with a mild hint of irritation, "I'm...napping." Trying, then, to clear his mind, he shot back, "What're you doing?"

The other male spoke then and Jordyn couldn't help but chuckle to himself at the naivety of that statement and the exchange that followed but said nothing in regards to it. Still though, Tarik was doing him a favour - granting him access to this luxurious mansion so the least he could've done in return was to behave.

"If anyone comes along then boyfriend here will take care of them, am I right ?" Of course, he didn't mean 'boyfriend' in any serious manner but knowing that it would be left up to interpretation was always pleasing.
