Loki was unfazed as Astrid grilled him, saying that he wouldn't last a minute without her, how she could have brainwashed him by now, etc, etc etc. Truth be told, Loki already knew most of those things, but they hardly fazed him: it made things much more interesting that she was looking out for him, but he was confident that he would always have the last card to play, regardless of what they decided to do with him. After all, what card can beat the inability to die? None, and that was just how Loki liked it. So there he sat through most of her speech, the shadow of his smirk still lingering as he watched her with dead eyes. It was then that she finally got to the point, saying she would go easier on his assessment of him and then pulled out her locket

Oh Freya, how you put me in a compromising position, no? He thought to himself in a slight chuckle. Astrid didn't stop though, kept going on about how he had wandering eyes, Thor wasn't subtle and that they were pretty different than the rest. But the true show happened when Astrid finally finished her rant with the strangest line: You will take me and Azzy to Asgard with you when you return.” Loki fell silent for a second, until a deep rumble came from within that turned into a chuckle, before a little laugh escaped from him. He couldn't help it, the whole situation seemed so bizarre and odd that it was quite humerus now. Not to mention entertaining.

"And what makes you think that you'll be able to just waltz into Asgard without any problem, hm Miss Fury?" Loki contained his laughter before finally cooling himself down. "You are correct in assuming that I am dead without your... humble protection, but the fact of the matter is quite clear - even if we helped each other, I do not believe that anything will change." He paused, the smirk still there and slightly growing. "Again, you are right to presume that I have some intelligent knowledge of your mother, but then again, you have also failed to ask the simple question of exactly how many of Midgard know of such a secret? I can safely tell you that there are more people in with information than you previously assumed." Loki gave a dry smile to her before finishing off.

"Besides..." He gave a small smirk before it quickly fell into a wistful tone. "There are more things to fear than being killed here on Midgard because you wanted answers. So to answer your demand, I cannot truly 'share' information pertaining the exact identity and knowledge of your mother, nor can you simply walk into Asgard because you are hungry for information. But whose to stop you from finding the information out on your own, hm?" After Loki's little open ended speech, he sincerely hoped that Astrid got the little innuendo at the end - he severely overestimated her if she couldn't. Why would he bother telling her she could find out on her own? Well, Loki wanted to give away the location of every person that might know, especially of the ones within the Order that had been lying to her this entire time.

Oh the things that would burn if she found out.
