Virana nodded in satisfaction as she looked around the hangar bay, everyone had snapped into motion as soon as she had finished giving her orders. They had moved swiftly and efficiently to carry out her orders and were now finishing off their duties, pilots were ready inside their ships just waiting for the order to launch. Engineers and land crews were also ready for the order and an ensign waited beside Virana to lead her to her own ship. She was pleased to see that a ship had been chosen for her and already carried her name on the side. She was unsure as yet whether the captain was the kind who preferred his officers to remain somewhat safe or whether he liked them to take the same risks as those in their departments. Virana hoped he was the latter as she had no intention of leaving her people to sit in an office somewhere and watch everything via vid screen. She nodded to the ensign and walked towards her own ship wishing she had had more time to familiarise herself with it. She would have liked to have had the chance to take it out for a spin and see how she handled but there would have to be time for that later. With another nod of affirmation that all was ready she tapped her comm badge.

"Captain, Commander Kalre here. Alpha and Beta Squadrons are ready for launch, Delta Squadron on standby. All is ready if needed."

R'Larn was glad that she had taken some time to familiarise herself with the new sickbay as it gave her an opportunity to demonstrate her dedication to duty.

"Yes Doctor I have, and I will be happy to show you around." R'Larn said and then began doing just that. The tour was not a long one given their pressing time frame but sufficient enough for Doctor Calhoun to learn what she needed to know.

"...and this is where we keep the blood samples of the crew as well as their other samples such as tissue etc." R'Larn finished and then turned back to her chief.
