She had her own garden? The brightening of her eyes gave away her unhindered joy. It was really beautiful, and she loved everything about it. It was the most wonderful thing anyone had ever given to her, and it was definitely something that she wasn't likely to forget. Sadie bit her lower lip a little and looked around. She couldn't stop looking at the garden, and the more she looked, the more she saw. She noticed how the borders of each little patch of flowers was created by a tiny white picket fence, and how perfectly pruned the rose bushes were. Benches had been placed under trees where it was shady, and the leaves were almost emerald in color. It was like a garden of gems.

"No, there...is not. Would you like there to be one?"

Sadie looked up at Levi and smiled warmly at him. Did she really want one? She thought she did. Even if she herself couldn't fly out of here, it might be nice to see some creatures that could. She didn't want Levi to go to any trouble for her, and she certainly didn't want to seem demanding. And yet, she may as well try to enjoy herself here if she was going to be trapped. Sadie hesitated for a moment before she slowly nodded.

"I...I think I would like one. I've always liked looking at the birds. But...you shouldn't go out of your way to get one," Sadie admitted after a moment.

"If it truly is your wish, there would be no trouble for me granting it. However, considering we have a cat living around the household... I would think it through carefully. There is a reason as to why I never got one."

"Oh...a cat?" Sadie paused, hesitating. She'd not been here long, but the only cat she had seen was down in the basement, with the children. She'd never had a cat either, but she knew what they could be like with prey-like animals. "I don't know then. I think it would be nice to have one, but not if the birds would just be killed..."

Sadie looked up at him, and smiled. In some ways, Levi reminded her of a cat. At times, he could be distant, but there were also occasions when he was warm and almost playful. He reminded her of an abused stray, having found itself in a warm safe environment, but still wary. She liked that about him. Though despite the rough times that he had experienced, it was clear that despite his hesitance, he was still a kind and gentle person, hiding his sadness beneath professionalism. Sadie felt a little sorry for him. They were both in the same boat. Impulsively, she flung her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. Her body pressed for a moment against his, before she pulled back.

"Thank you, so much. For everything"

Sadie spent the rest of the day with Levi, and she had to admit, she enjoyed it. After agreeing to get a table for the birds, despite the risk from the cat, Levi had taken her back inside to give her a tour of the house. They never once bumped into anyone else, and it was silent except for their talk and laughter, but somehow, Sadie didn't notice. Levi showed her both floors, taking her through to the library, which Sadie completely fell in love with, and then a large conference room. Levi explained that the room didn't see much use, and that there were many rooms which no one had even entered for years. The lower floor was made up of comfortable sitting rooms, the library and conference rooms, the dining room and the kitchen, and a luxuriously warm conservatory.

When he took her up the stairs to the second story, Levi revealed that it was mostly bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. He showed her down a long and dark hall, after Sadie had begged to be shown, and showed her where the master's rooms were. He had a study, bathroom and bedroom all to himself, and the door was locked from the inside. Sadie thought that the area outside the door was colder than the rest of the house, and both she and Levi felt uncomfortable stood there, so they swiftly moved on. He showed her a music room, and a balcony, and finally the stairs that led up to the attic. Levi advised her not to take those stairs, and though she was curious, Sadie told him that she wouldn't go up them.

After the tour, they returned back downstairs, where the smell of a cooked meal greeted them. Sadie had no idea who had cooked it, but she had learned not to ask when it came to things like this. Instead, she realized how hungry the day had made her, and tucked in to the wonderfully prepared meal. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, as was the lamb. She ate more than she would have in a whole day at home, where solid meals were few and far between, but she didn't even notice as she was too engrossed in conversation with Levi. They didn't talk about deep or important things. They barely even talked about each other. And yet their conversation was fluid and effortless, and it became clear that they got along exceptionally well.

Sadie sighed slowly and leaned back in her chair, looking across the table at Levi. She was full, and the warm food made her sleepy and lethargic. It was a feeling of blissful ease and safety.

"Thank you so much for showing me around today, Levi," She told him with a small smile, before yawning gently and raising a hand to cover it, "At least there's a smaller chance I wont get lost now"
