It appeared like she got to the scene at the end of whatever scuffle had been going on, but that seemed typical of her luck. She could hear sirens in the background and couldn’t help but snort in disgust. She seriously hated cops and tried to keep away from them due to the rather large rap-sheet she had acquired throughout the years. Still, running away from injured Golem was cowardly and so, with a sigh, Mataiya began her descent back down to the ground, landing in a soft crouch as more shots were fired. Slinking along the wall towards the rock creature, the redhead melded into the shadows thanks to her black cloak and stealthy behavior. Scrunching up her nose as the golem first squeezed one of the opponents legs before tossing him towards a wall, luckily not her wall, Callahan could feel heat radiating from her body. She was prepared to protect herself no matter what was thrown at her.

Instead, her attention was caught off guard when the massive beast dropped down to the ground, the surface shaking with the impact. Had a shot gotten past its rough exterior? She had not a clue, but knew it was worth investigating. Slinking forward, she kept her gaze on the thug that had just gotten tossed like trash. Luckily, the others were moving away from the scene, no doubt because of the cops, so she really only had one figure to focus on other than the fallen rockman. From what she could tell, the golem wasn’t dead, but she wasn’t completely sure of that fact and didn’t really want to be smooshed.

“Hey… hey, you… rock creature dude… you okay?” Mataiya poked a finger at part of his arm, trying to get him to make some kind of movement.

“Hey… the cops are coming… you should probably wake up or something.” Yeah, she was super smooth.
