Vlad hated having supernatural levels of hearing, when he had heard the voices, he'd slipped and nearly cut his cheek open with his straight razor and spilt blood all over his leather coat. He'd been staying in the small derelict shack since his kin inside the Hollows had decided he was the best one to stand over the entrance as they sorted out the shenanigans going on in the Hollow.

Vlad opened the door of the pathetic building and closed it behind him, putting a hand to his ear to drone out the rest of the noises and hone in on the voices. When he'd narrowed out the crickets and the animals, he took the hand off his ear and lurked across the forest until he'd spied out the two figures and stood to his full height in the murky shade of a tree, his glowing yellow eyes transfixing upon them.

Vlad loved scaring people, it his favourite thing to do back home.
