As soon as he heard the back door slam open, he put is cigar out and whipped around to see who was making the commotion. First came Kyle who was falling all over himself, stumbling out of the tavern like an elk that had been shot.

He furrowed his brows and made his way over to him, but just as he approached, Harper plowed through the exit, and that was just enough for Haru to know for sure that shit was going down.

“What the hell happened?” He asked as he made a step towards the door. A look of confusion and irritation washed over his face.

Tallyho never really returned to the inn. Instead she was crouched down in a nearby alley, the weight of her earnings firmly pressing down against her toes. She made a slight gasp as a shadowy figure approached, and took cover behind a protrusion on the side of a building. Tallyho and watched with caution as the figure approached.

She knew that it wasn’t one of the men from the bar, that’s for sure. Not with a willowy figure like that—though it was like looking in a mirror since Tallyho was of the same build. She recognized the girl as one of the warriors, so she moved away from her hiding place and approached.
