10...9...8...7...6...Got it!
Robin grinned triumphantly as she managed to disable the alarm system in the Epstein house. They were friends of her mother that had come over at Christmas, real cheery people. Robin rolled her eyes as she walked further into the house, You'd think they'd have better security. She was quickly running around the house silent as a mouse and taking the important looking stuff, you know, the stuff behind glass or stuff in a box. Everything in the house seemed to be screaming 'Take me! Take me!' What kind of person would Robin be if she didn't fulfill their requests? Soon she was running out the door with her bag of goodies, not even bothering to close the door. There was a thick blanket of fog outside and Robin smiled, "Perfect get away."
She walked along alleyways and backstreets on the way back to her apartment. She was used to the fog, it came all the time in Triumph City, but for some reason she kept looking behind her back. She couldn't help but feel that something was...off, but she shook it off and kept walking. Your just being paranoid. You know that nothing exciting happens in Triumph City. Robin rolled her eyes at just how true the statement was and continued her walk home. She couldn't help that the hair on the back of her neck was standing on end and that she got the strange feeling that someone was watching her.
When Robin finally got home she quickly unlocked the door and threw the bag of stolen goodies in a closet, she was way to tired to go threw it tonight. Robin didn't even bother walking to her room, she just grabbed a blanket that seemed soft enough and flopped down on the ripped up coach in her living room. Right before she fell asleep Robin remembered she hadn't locked her door. Sitting up she just stared at the lock, usually Robin wouldn't even bother locking it, but remembering the feeling she had walking home she quickly got up and locked it. What good is locking a door going to do? I pick locks all the time. Still, she couldn't help but feel better now that it was locked, and after that she laid down and fell asleep contently.
