The bridge is worn, but sturdy. Its wooden planks carry you across a gushing and cold river where falling in would mean death for the average person.

"This suit isn't too heavy. I think I can jump it." Carter held onto the ropes as the bridge lightly swung back and forth. "Ok, let's go already!" He did not like this bridge. He absolutely hated heights. Ironic, since he was an astronaut. The bridge swerved from the rocking. Then, Carter heard a light snapping from behind him. The boards had apparently had enough. The bridge was collapsing from all this weight. The boards snapped and groaned, falling into the rushing water. "SHIT! WE NEED TO GO NOW!!"
