She then continued, “My husband and I, as well as Admiral Preston have been monitoring your progress for some time now, and we thought to ask of your help in a greater capacity. You’re of a brilliant tactical mind it seems and I wanted to ask if you would receive the bestowing of the Tactician’s rank for the Metargo Fleets." a look of surprise took over Jin's face as he couldn't believe what was happening, he was receiving a promotion from the errand boy scapegoat position he was currently stuck in back at the Metargo military base.

This new position fulfilled Jin's deepest wish, the position that would allow him too end this war sooner rather than just fight in it under the command of his incompetent superiors.
