Kate laughed heartily when he slipped, planting her hands on her hip with a cocky smirk on her face. "Yar, I'm comin'," she grunted through her grin, "Quit yer belly achin'." She dropped down to her belly and offered a hand out to take his, grasping onto it. Now that he had a good view he could probably see right up her sleeve, where a mechanism lay hidden strapped to her arm and a sharp spike rest on the outside of her wrist. It looked more like a climbing tool than anything, and it indicated that maybe there was more cunning to this pirate than her cocky and confident exterior.
Or at least some cunning to back it up. Also some muscle! She gave a sharp tug upwards, and while she certainly couldn't pull him up unaided from this angle, she certainly was giving a good go, face straining with effort.
