The pink haired girl picks her things up off the ground as the boy goes blasting off through the halls. She sighs as she stands and sees a black-haired boy walk past her. He must be new since she's never seen him around before. She pretends to pick things up as he walks by so she doesn't make eye-contact with him. Someone like him would never talk to a girl like her...With a sigh, she waits for him to clear her view before she fully stands and walks to her classroom. Kimiko hugs the wall and makes sure to avoid oncoming traffic of the busy halls. She then hears the chatter of other students in the hallway. They seem to be talking about the black-haired boy she saw before.
"Isn't that the transfer kid? Let's have some fun with him later..." Fun? What did they mean by that? It couldn't be anything good judging by their tone.
"Why would anyone want to be mean to him? He just got here..." Kimiko thinks as she passes them by. She would have said something to them, but what could she do? Not only was she a freshman, she was also a girl, and they were much bigger than she was. Saying something now could ruin her entire high school experience. Taking a breath, Kimiko entered the classroom and noticed the black-haired boy sitting in he room. With a slight blush after meeting his gaze, she scurries to a seat in the back of the classroom closest to the window. She hooks her bag onto the side of the desk and sits in the chair awaiting her teacher to enter the room.

A few minutes later, he does. A tall, muscular man walks into the classroom, setting his belongings on the desk. Clearing his throat, he writes his name on the chalkboard.
"Good morning everyone!" he says with a genuine smile. His voice is deep, "My name is Mr. Asakota and I am your gym teacher. I'm gonna go ahead and take roll call. Just let me know you're here, no funny business, and then we'll take a walk down to the gym. Make sure to take your things with you." He begins his roll call and Kimiko replies as loud as she can when she hears her name.
"Kimiko Busujima!"
"Here!"

Akihiko finishes his quick shower and walks briskly to his classroom.
"Room 216, eh?" he mumbles to himself. Apparently he is overheard. A sophomore girl walks up to him, blushing, and addresses him.
"Um...hi there Aki-senpai."
"Oh, Ayumi-san, you were in my Math class last year weren't you?"
This makes her blush more, "W-Wow! You remember that?! Ohmigosh, I-I don't know what to say!"
"Listen, it's really nice of you to come and say hi, but I should really get to my classroom. You should too, you don't want to be late, right?"
"W-Well, y-yes! B-but, I t-think we're in the same class! K-Kendo Elective, r-right?
Were girls really this intimidated by him? That they stutter with almost every word? "Oh, yes that's where I'm headed. Do you need help finding it?"
"W-Well, n-no...y-you see...I...I..."
"It's okay, you can say what you need to say. Don't be afraid. Akihiko puts on a real-looking smile.
"IWASWONDERINGIFICOULDWALKWITHYOU!?!?" She spurts as if it is one word. Akihiko chuckles a bit. It was a bit funny.
"Yeah, I suppose so. There's no harm in it." A slight squeal comes from the girl.
"Oh thank you Aki-senpai!!" The two of them walk down the hall, jealous glances going toward the girl from other girls that they pass. Akihiko resists rolling his eyes. When they reach the classroom, they are just in time. The teacher stands by the windows of the room, since it is in a club room. She is tall and slender, very pretty.
"Good morning, everyone. I am Mrs. Akiyama. You may see my husband later in your history class." she says this with a smile, "I'm going to call your names and you let me know if you're here. Once that's done, we can get started, okay?" She begins roll call.
"Ayumi Gata?"
"HERE!" the girl yelps, happy as can be to be in the same class as Akihiko. The roll call continues.
"Akihiko Tomimoto?"
"Present, Mrs. Akiyama." Some of the girls swoon in the class.
