"Which one?" The guy asked and before Melanie could answer he was already listing three of the guys. "That one in the blue plaid is Jimmy Ross, after that is Chris Brinkley, and the one after that is Wes." She looked at him as he named the first two with both first and second names but not the one she was interested in. "...And if any of them give you trouble..." Danny pointed behind her and she looked over her shoulder to see what looked like a security man. "...is big Jim."
“Are they likely to cause me trouble?” Melanie asked, her French accent was laced with worry and the big man behind her seemed to intimidate her more than make her feel safe. “I totally forgot, I am Melanie,” she stretched out her hand for him to shake, waiting for him to offer his name but they were interrupted.
"Hey, Danny, what are you doing here? Who's this?" It was Wes and she felt a shiver crawl up her spine as she dropped her hand back to her wine glass, Wes’ hunter aura was making her feel slightly nauseous whilst Danny’s didn’t have quite a strong a feel to it. Melanie answered the question directed at Danny for him.
“I am Melanie, I just arrived from France.” She told him, offering him a polite smile before taking a sip of her wine, the sweet drink helping to calm her nerves slightly. She may have needed their help but she definitely wasn’t going to get used to the American hunters as quickly as she assumed she would.
