It was a bit overwhelming at first to take in all the questions and information that just transpired. However Danny made quick work of it all. He could tell that both Melanie and Wes seemed to be uncomfortable around each other. Although he didn't understand why; other than the obvious.

If she did want to do something, she would have planned this better. However it is strange she would ask about Wes then as soon as he walked become a little more distant. I am reading way too much into this. Danny thought to himself. However Wesley was a stronger hunter. Though Danny couldn't wrap his head around how she was would know that.

It didn't exactly matter, as long as he kept this moving. She would most likely reveal why she was there. Danny felt like a fool for being so paranoid, but it's been the usual for a while now.

"Well, Melanie..." Danny spoke in a what he hoped was a comforting tone. "...This is my brother Wesley Sullivan. He can be a bit of a trouble maker, but I wouldn't worry about it too much" He gave her a reassuring smile, but it wasn't quite as bright as the first time. "I'd stay away from Chris though, he'll go on forever about this soap opera he watches.

Then Danny looked over at his brother. "Shay ask me to come over." It felt like he had been scolded, but it was good to see him. He wanted to make a joke to try to break the strange tension in the room, but he just couldn't find one to be made. It was probably best to just make casual conversation.

"You're from France. What brings you here?" Danny asked with genuine curiosity.
