“Well, Melanie, this is my brother Wesley Sullivan. He can be a bit of a trouble maker, but I wouldn't worry about it too much." Danny told her and she chuckled lightly. "I'd stay away from Chris though, he'll go on forever about this soap opera he watches.”
"A trouble maker? Really, Danny boy?" Melanie smiled as Wesley shook his head at his brother’s comment. “Well, since introductions were made for me like I'm a kindergartener, it's nice to meet you, tootz.” Wesley welcomed her, but his attention wasn’t on her for very long before she could reply, until Danny asked her a question.
“You're from France. What brings you here?" Danny seemed generally interested in what she had to say and Melanie smiled, whilst the question was awkward to answer, she did her best to answer honestly, whilst trying to hid the truth. However, before Melanie could answer the question, Shailene had appeared, with a smile on her face and three beers, one of which Melanie hoped wasn’t for her, she hated the stuff.
“Wassup, guys! Beer's on the house,” Melanie smiled at the bartender, before taking a sip from her wine glass, closer up the girl’s aura was definitely more humane then the brothers, she seemed more curious than cautious of the supernatural and it made Melanie a lot less worried, she had an almost calming air to her. "And I haven't seen you before. hon. I'm Shailene; most call me Shay."
“I just arrived from France, my name’s Melanie.” She told Shailene, before responding to Danny’s earlier question. And I’m here because I hear this place is great for photography.” It wasn’t an entire lie, she was genuinely interested in doing some photography whilst here, but it was better than ‘I came here to find my brother, who was kidnapped by vampires’.
