He yanked the bandanna down over his face to try and stop himself from inhaling some of the smoke. It wasn't very effective, but it was definitely better than nothing.
"Have you been putting gasoline in here? Y'know it's a diesel engine?" He turned and coughed once. "Yeah, that's no good...I'm surprised it was running."
He started to list off the likely damages. "Okay. Your pistons, wrist pins, and connecting rods are damaged. Not to mention the valve train. Then there's the damage to the fuel tank and fuel delivery pumps themselves...Even if we drained the tank and flushed the system this thing might be permanently damaged depending on the ratio of gasoline to diesel." Grant wasn't the smartest guy around, but he did know his engines.
