Tristan never slept in his wolf form, the wolf was always alert making sure everything was safe and sound. He was fiercely protective of anyone he was close to especially Tristan and now Mackenzie. He smiled as best as he could through the wolfs face but even that turned out like a evil grin.

Tristan nuzzled Mackenzie's face and spoke " Hunters came and took you away, as a way to get me to them. I came and tried to get you out, your fought some of them off yourself. You got hit by a silver bullet, I managed to get it out before it became damaging to you. Then I took your here this is where I stay most of the time except in the winter when a bear friend of mine has it for hibernation"

He looked to. The mouth of the cave and spoke " the sun will be up soon and I'll be normal again, I don't think we can go back to the house they will defiantly be watching. Do you know of anywhere we can be in hiding?"
