Marv, heading no response from either of the citizens in front of him and his presence being generally ignored, believed the fear of not being heard to be a true one, and was about to speak louder, to repeat himself more assertively, when he felt a mass knock directly into his back. The doctor was a rather large man compared to most, in bulk and stature alike, so the simple knock of the smaller, foreign mass did not even break his footing from the ground, but did a rather good job at catching his attention at least.

He spied over his shoulder confusedly, having to look down to see the blonde barmaid whom had run into him. After a moment's inspection, seeing her in her nightwear catching him a tad off guard, he asked in the same quiet, measured tone he used before, the doctor's worry forever unyielding, "You alright?" Though did not venture any further than that, looking up abruptly to peer into the darkness of the alley behind her, voices from further off coming to his ears. Marv saw the men in pursuit of the young woman blundering their way down the narrow alleyway in their direction, swords draw at the ready. Cocking his head to the side in a very bird-like manner, Marv's hand slowly drifted to his belt were a delicately etched cutlass hung lazily, his hand resting lightly on the hilt, but did not move to grip it just yet.

Standing as still as a statue, it was clear that the large man was in waiting, but for what, it was unknown. From the sounds drifting from behind them, the town (At least in that part) sounded like it was being thrown into complete chaos, though Marv didn't have the slightest idea what was happening exactly, the alleyway where they stood seemed to go on unnoticed. A favorable position, Marv mused to himself, but it wouldn't last long, more men pouring into the narrow space at the other end.

"Come." Without waiting for approval, Marv grabbed the barmaid's arm with what he thought as a gentle force, freeing his cutlass with his unused hand and backing into the fray of the open square. Fighting in an alley would only lead to their own downfall, the small space to tight for the large Marvorok, so there seemed like no other choice. Though, from there, he was at a lose, not sure who was the enemy in the crowd of fighting individuals.
