A stunning Zeltron woman dressed in Jedi Master robes follows the Knight out of the shuttle, ducking down so that the long, thin rod strapped to her back didn't collide with the frame of the door. She wears a bright smile as she looks around the area, taking in her surroundings and attracting just as many looks as the Miraluka, though she guessed it was for entirely different reasons. She hops down off the landing platform and walks over to where the lieutenant and her former Padawan stand.

"Right! My name's Tel'Kar Namani, Jedi Master. Let's get started, shall we? If you please, I'd like to get right to the briefing. I'd not like to stay in this place any longer than necessary. No offense, Lieutenant, but it's a bit...dark." says the woman quickly, her expression having dimmed a bit after taking in the area. Why the Republic ever chose this as a capital she had no idea. Looked like a bloody mess to her, even the nicer parts. Though, maybe it was just her empathic abilities picking up far too many emotions, scrambling her thoughts. She'd never quite gotten used to that.

She gives a smile to Soran despite this. "This should be easy, my friend. Arrest a few slavers, free a few slaves, and we'll be back home before dinner. They seem a fairly minor threat from the reports." she says in his direction, nodding to herself in confidence. She supposed she shouldn't underestimate them, but slavers generally weren't as bad as they'd like to think. They were inaccurate, disorganised, and full of worthless henchmen who couldn't think for themselves. Not much of a combination. Usually.

She was also looking forward to seeing the undercity, since she'd never been there before. She'd try not to have too much fun on this mission, but there were no guarantees, especially not with her. She'd let Soran handle most of it, though, as she'd generally be the one to lead these operations and she wants to see how he does with hardly any guidance. Despite herself, she can't help but think of him as a Padawan still, the bond they'd gained over those short years having impacted her more than she'd like to admit. She does try to not be a teacher as much anymore, but she doesn't usually succeed. This time, she would make sure it would be different, for his own good and hers.
