"I suppose you're right. It's not technically against the code, but it could be... There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no passion, there is serenity. If we share a bed, then so be it, but we should keep the code in mind."

He paused for a moment, walking around the counter towards the kitchen area and checking a refrigerated cabinet for a drink of some kind. He found one in the form of a small bottle of alcohol and poured himself a small glass with the strict intention of not having too much of it. One drink, however, would surely be safe.

"I understand what you're saying, but I'm not necessarily a 'normal' blind person. I should be fine. The blindfold doesn't give away my identity, and I plan to be careful none the less. As for passing the time, I guess it's entirely up to you, since otherwise I would be fine with simply taking a nap."

"We can spar if you want, or we can meditate and I can try to understand the mixed feelings I am getting from the lower city. Perhaps with concentration I could find more focused locations of suffering and negative emotion, though I don't expect to get any specific location out of it."
