"So what are you saying?" He asked the Zeltron woman, as he looked back at her. "That we should consider operating outside of the code of the Jedi and allowing the force to take our relationship where it will without resisting? To submit to the idea that the force has placed us together for a reason?"

He shook his head and sighed, while taking the blindfold from around his eyes and casually tossing it away to the floor. "The force wants something of us. I just don't know what it is yet. Perhaps meditation will help me understand, and since I find it easier to meditate while relaxed and lying down, I guess I'll join you in waiting."

He moved back along the bed and lay down, propping his head above a pillow that started to swallow his head and neck as he relaxed the muscles in his body. He had nothing else to say, just a tired body and mind from the long journey and events of the day; and knowledge that in but a few hours time their assignment would truly begin. Until then, neither meditation or sleep could do him any harm, depending on which came for him first. He closed his 'eyes' and began to wait.
