When Katrina said 'Valor Man', he struck a dynamic-looking pose, like something out of a comic.
You know you're acting more Japanese superhero than an American one, right?

He was happy about her assessment that Valor and he made a good team.
"We need each other, that's all."

However, an unusual frown darkened her face. She then said that she wanted to chew out Shell-Shock. He wasn't going to tell her not to, but she opted not to on her own. He thought that was a good decision, given Nick's attitude. Apparently, Nick's loss to him had not hurt his popularity much, as he was surrounded by his own friends. But, at least he wasn't shooting his mouth off to him, and that was a victory in and of itself.

She then began acting like a cheerleader, saying that she would support him and cheer him on. He actually did imagine her in a cheerleader's outfit, and the image looked so good that he just held it for a minute.
Focus, Scott. You have to train, not chase girls.
I'm not chasing girls, Valor. Just let me have this mental image.

Scott snapped out of this conversation to reply to Katrina.
"Thank you for your support. I don't know how quick my advancement will be, but I'll give it my all."
She then told him that he shouldn't push himself because of jerks.
"It's not about them. Everything that I do in training is for me, for my own reasons."
