He had just come back from school. Tired. It wasn't because he was being bullied. It wasn't because he was being chased.
It's because he got LTO.
He grinned as he panted. The blonde, a 22-year old, looked excited as he clutched the video game case in his hands. He had heard reviews about this. Tons, of good reviews.
Too excited to try such a game, the boy, named Takashi Nakushita, grabbed his NerveGear, and plugged it into his computer. Inserting the video game disc inside, he placed the NerveGear onto his head, and looked through the visor. Dropping to the floor, he took a deep breath, and looked up at the ceiling. Grinning, he quietly said,
Detols heard everything. Every, single, word, the GM had said. After he had started grinding and even reached level 12 with some new skills for his 'Ninja' and 'Spy' class, he didn't expect this. He should have been more cautious, but he didn't. He made the same mistake, ever since SAO. Even after he realized that something like could've been pulled again in the future, he never expected this. It was SAO all over again. So many people died already. There were some people who cried, and cried, regretting their purchase of this game. Many mourned, rejected, etc. It was havoc, no...more like chaos.
He could notice his menu screen notifying him that he received a message, but Detols didn't want to read it. Instead, the message forced itself on the screen;
“I use to be a solo-player and know how far one can get. You won't get far without help. So if you value your life or anyone else's in this game, or maybe you just want to beat the game. Then please come and join me.”

Detols looked at it close. He already received a request to join a group? He looked at the message carefully one more time, then the corner of his lips started to curve. In a mocking way, he said,
"Not this hellhole again...". He looked around, and saw that some people had already dispersed, and wandered off. But he didn't care. Detols decided to simply check out the group. He didn't expect anything big, but still, decided to see if this group was worth his time. Pressing the 'O' button on the right side, he quickly said to the reply sender, "I'll be on my way". He quickly pressed the 'O' button once again, and quickly leaped to the roof of a virtually generated house, following the navigated route.
He continued to jump roofs, getting closer to the 1st labyrinth entrance. He noticed another group of people. 2 Guys. 3 Girls. They all seemed to look pretty confident in themselves. Once again, Detols started to grin.
"Well...doesn't seem like such a bad group". In a huge leap, Detols landed right in front of the group that was joining up.
"A message was sent from the likes of one of you. Interesting...a group, that had already started forming. Pleased to make your acquaintance. My name is Detols, and just like most of you, I'm pretty experienced in these types of games", Detols said. He put on a pokerface, and awaited for the leader to reveal himself or herself.
