ADAVAHR

Adavahr had three choices in front of him and he chose left. He crept around rubble and debris from the roof collapse, all the while listening and looking for any sign of danger. There was nothing! Not even a sign of movement, which meant he was going in the right direction. Someone had already killed all the monsters on this path, which made traversing this floor easy. As he slowly let down his guard, he ran across another door, this time to his right. He decided against it, waiting for another left so he wouldn’t get lost. He quickly took his next left, which led to a passageway filled with sounds of water. He put his guard back up, and slowly crept out of the passageway and into the open clearing. The first thing he could see was torchlight, and a nice view of a small underground lake. Next to the lake was a tiny camp. It was fairly dark, but he could faintly make out two forms lying on the ground. He quietly snuck up close to find that there were two sleeping goblins laying on a small bed of hay. He quickly looked around to find there were no other enemies, just the two sleeping goblins and two other bodies. He also noticed the only exit other then the way he came in was a large entry way on the other side of the lake. He began to walk towards the water, but thought against it as soon as he took a step into the water.

With Adavahr’s first step into the lake, both goblins instantly awoke and made a b-line for him. He leapt out of the water and readied for the attack. The first goblin carried a rusty sword and wore patches of leather armor. The second goblin had a small brown pair of ripped shorts on, with a mace that was obviously too large for the small creature. He quickly raised his sword over his head and swung at the first goblin, dragging his blade diagonally across the goblin’s chest. This caused the goblin to cry out in pain as its health lowered about 15%. The blow also sent its target back three feet, which was just what Adavahr wanted. This allowed him to rush the other goblin and smash him with the pommel of his sword, which was nothing more then a start for his next attack. He struck hard and fast, impressed with his new sword he did massive damage to the second goblin while the first came in for another attack. Adavahr then focused his attention back on the first as he rushed back in. The goblin swung his little arm as hard as it could, causing Adavahr to defend for the first time in this fight. He blocked the first blow fairly easily, and countered the strike with another slash across the torso. This time the attack did 28% damage, causing the goblin to go into the yellow. He decided to focus on this one, and make his fight easier. He rushed, causing the goblin to leap back in fear for a moment before he attempted to continue his attack. He smashed the goblin with the pommel of his sword again, which caused it to drop its guard and left it open for another attack. “Hammers of fate. “He said, which released ten hammers from seemingly nowhere into the air. The all spun around for two seconds, then rushed towards Adavahr’s target. Each hammer hit its mark, causing the goblin to quickly fall into the red and burst into data. He turned towards the last enemy, which was already in striking range. He however didn’t see how close until it was too late. The goblin struck his leg, causing 9% damage and making the paladin back up. He quickly side stepped the goblin’s next attack and took advantage of his size advantage. He sent his sword through a high arch, slicing the goblin’s neck. He brought up his sword again and slashed straight down from his green little head to his torso, which caused its health to go into the red as well. He decided to finish it of with one more heavy slash across the torso, which did the trick. The goblin burst into a cloud of data like the one before and Adavahr sheathed his sword. “Minor heal.” He said as he walked back to the water. He swam across the water and headed to the doorway which was fairly refreshing. They did a good job making this game almost exactly like SAO. Even the swimming was like in the real world, like he was actually there. He made it to the end and pushed up onto the land. He brushed some of the water off himself and headed for the doorway.

Adavahr continued left at every chance he got, finding no other enemies. All he found were lifeless corpses. He eventually got the end of the route, where another open cavern opened up. He readied his blade again, thinking he might have another fight on his hands. As he peered into the room, he saw players. “Finally!” he said. He began to walk into the room, still looking about for any other sign of movement, he slowly crept closer to the players.
