Ningyo came to the Leaf begrudgingly. He hated leaving the Sand for anything short of a high priority mission. The mission he was on currently was to visit the Leaf in hopes of finding new interesting materials for puppet making. The puppet corps was always looking for new stuff. This time it was Ningyo's turn.

Ningyo went around the village looking through various vendors. He found one that was selling an interesting kind of wood that channeled Chakra better than others. Ningyo, of course, didn't believe a word the vendor said, but bought enough to make an arm of a puppet just in case. He also bought some metal for joints and some various other kinds of wood for good measure.

After he finished his shopping, Ningyo sat down at some noodle shop. He ordered a bowl of Ramen and waited. While waiting he looked around. He was in an uncomfortable situation. He was a stranger in a strange land, on top of that he was a stranger with no people skills.
