"Damn it!" Dylan cursed as he ran over and saw the blonde woman make it back onto ground level and run off into the distance, out of sight. He briefly thought of going after her, but the idea of leaving Anastasia alone and helpless didn't seem all that appealing to him. Looking over the side, Dylan spotted his M4 assault rifle resting on the ground from where the woman had kicked it off the roof. Curiosity and need got the better of him as he spared a quick look at Anastasia before heading down the fire escape himself to retrieve the weapon.
