Varin's look on the chaos was as everyone else, even with the net, Varin wasn't one to keep himself idle for long. He needed something to do with his hands. However with the fight going on and with the boat creaking like it was on it's last leg, he started to grab what ever what in arms reach (including some peices of wood) and jumped off the ship.

He jumped off the ship, landing feet first as he fumbled with some of the items in his arms. "This isn't out fight! Come on!" He yelled to violet as he looked around. Again, that feeling of being led on by something. He noticed some cans in the sand; one, maybe two of them sitting there. Granted, living in the northwest where farmers markets were the norm and one was able to ask were the food came from and how to do it; something like canned food wasn't what he had in mind. However, the situation called for this sort of thing.

He opened the net, setting what he found in the boat inside like a makeshift bag and slung it over his shoulder. He had done what the bird-man said, even with him fighting with the other experiments at least his advice was sound. "Gah! Jesus, don't sneak up on me like that!" His head snapped toward Evan, seeing the cans in his arms, making his anger slightly well up as his thoughts started to slide into darker territory. "HEY! I HOPE YOU AREN'T THINKIN' ABOUT MAKING OFF WITH THOSE!" he yelled in his direction.
