The guy had paused messing with the things he carried, then Crombie could feel and nearly imagine the movement over his face. His expression morphed to one of confusion and offense, he recoiled from the suddenty of motion, trying to focus on the slightly shorter man. He huffed, Crombie hadn't seen the need for others to wave in his face like that so often. "Stop that," he said softly but in an irritated manner, catching the hand in his own and pushing it back towards its owner.
Distant sounds raised from across the island, he shivered and scratched at the bracelet around his wrist. He was too overwhelmed to overreact, even a little shocked that he was capable of containing himself so well. He kept his attention partially directed towards the dull ache that wrapped around his wrist, mostly to keep himself from lashing out, almost a form of grounding
