Violet yelps in pain and falls back to the ground as her swing forces her weight on to her tender ankle. Her grip on the bag is lost and it just lays on the ground until the birdman makes off with it. Though she soon glad to be on the ground and out of the way.

Violet watches the next series of events with a mixture of fear and awe. As even more never before seen 'residents' of the island appear. The unusual creatures she was promised to see are more than she could have expected. But still, how she came to be here was wrong. Why was she feeling off all day? Why were the others abducted? These questions needed answers, but how to find them? Maybe the stranger from the boat knows something, she's been here longer.

Violet locates her collapsed against a tree. Picking up the first aid kit and spear she limps her way over to the crumpled form. Stopping a little over an arms length away. In a soothing voice, "My name is Violet. I mean you no harm. I'm not a medical doctor but I know first aid. I will treat your injuries to best of my ability if you will let me."

After waiting briefly for an objection, Violet moves closer and opens the first aid kit, taking in what limited supplies she has to work with. Then starts to expose the bleeding wounds and examine them. As she does so it becomes obvious this individual is not human (At least not completely). Violet tries to contain her curiosity and stay focused on treating the injuries first.
