Taurus let out a grunt as Alex hit him with his bulk sending him sprawling backwards into the sand. He exclaimed in frustration as shock, outrage and frustration caused his blood to boil. Taurus had never had a proper reason to act against Alex directly he wasn't wise on Alex's strengths nor fully grasped how fast and agile he really is in the water, therefor he treated his actions against him in that moment, as if he where a very large fish to catch.

Taurus had flipped himself over as quickly as his bulk allowed, putting himself into a stance that could only be described as a charging stance. His hooves where planted firmly in the sand his legs coiled and bulging in tense potential energy. His tail whipped back and forth agitatedly as he worked himself up for the attack. All within five seconds he huffed violently enough to kick up dust with his nostrils and charged.

For about half a minute Taurus could be seen quickly gaining on Alex's retreat, then running along side them before taking a running dive aimed for the water beast's spine.

Taurus wasn't aiming to kill or battle Alex, simply to catch him with his bare hands. His strong arms would wrap around Alex's waist as he struggled to both avoid getting kicked in the face and body and plant his hooves in the rolling silt at the river's bed.
