When the jock tried to throw him to the ground, he countered the poor excuse for a take down and stayed on his feet. There was no way that somebody without any training whatsoever was going to get him on the ground.
He forced himself to take a deep breath and try to calm down. Once he claimed his bunk he would need to do some meditation. Not the bullshit you see on TV, but real meditation. When Lilliana thanked him for defending Audry he smiled. "I couldn't just stand by and let it happen. It wouldn't be a very good Protector of the Nerds then." He put an arm on Lilliana's shoulder. "Hey, if you ever want to join the nerds, you are more than welcome. And there are other ways to stay fit than being on a school team." He knew it probably wouldn't happen, but one could hope. And having someone defect from the jocks to the nerds would be a punch to the face for Skylar.
He adjusted his backpack, it was pretty heavy with all the electronics in it. "Let's go get our bunks before some idiots decide to mess with them." He helped the girls retrieve their suitcases and started to the cabins with them. "I was thinking about putting a sign on each of the cabins about them being safezones. That way everybody has somewhere that they could just be left alone and, and so nobody is murdered in the middle of the night because of destroyed stuff. Then having a spot at the bottom for people to sign their names on. What do you guys think? Will people actually go with it? Is it too childish?"
