"Sorry..what was I saying?" Landon asked, obviously distracted.

Johnny looked at Landon with an eyebrow half-raised, "That you needed to take a break," He prompted before returning to the meal before him. Landon's distraction was an obvious indication, to Johnny at least, that he was working way too hard on this place. There was no need to rush, but Johnny had always been more laid back about projects than Landon.

"Anyway, I was just saying that I probably could do with a rest. Actually, how about we watch a movie. It'll help get my mind off of whatever it is I thought happened."

Johnny nodded his agreement with Landon's proposal, unable to speak for the mouthful of food he was currently chewing. Landon ditched his plate in the sink. As he finished his meal, he could hear Landon in the front room and soon the dull murmur of a movie began to drift through to the kitchen. When he had finished his meal, Johnny took it on himself to wash the dishes. It was a quick job and no hardship. With nothing left to do in the kitchen, Johnny joined his friend in the lounge. As Johnny was starting to get into the film and pick up the story, another generic thriller that was often on tv but comparatively few people had bothered to go and see when it had first hit the cinemas, when Landon piped up again, ""I'm thinking that maybe tomorrow I'm going to catch up on some of my reading. I've been putting it off."

Johnny swiveled his head in surprise. Had Landon finally grasped the concept of a break?

"I was also thinking that since you're forcing me to take a break, that maybe we could at least get some unpacking done? Maybe just work on one room or something like that."

Evidently not, Johnny thought. He sighed, "Where are those handcuffs I was talking about earlier?" He said laughingly, "But seriously, it's not gonna hurt you to just read all day. You've worked wonders with this place already, just take a day off," Johnny looked around the unpacked boxes in the room. There was no way Landon was going to sit still with all these boxes lying around, "Fine, you can work on these boxes in this room, but only this room," Johnny conceded, "If I see you do anything else, I'll do something real bad," He grinned, knowing he was incapable of doing anything that would hurt Landon.
