Jackson used what little light the moon was giving him to try to deflect the punch, he didn't get a clean parry. The punch would hit, but not as direct as the Batman wanted.

It was time to think fast, Jackson kicked a leg out to stunt the leg sweep. He planted the foot still on the ground to make sure he remained standing, trying to put some distance between himself and the vigilante almost immediately.

"What are you trying to prove?" He asked, "The American ran, you stopped me. Are you trying to take some monster off of the streets by fighting me?" He asked the vigilante, "The Russians tried to kill me because I wouldn't sell their poison to non-Humans. It was chemical warfare."

"Here you are, knowing my name and where I came from. But, not who I am. You're ignoring monsters in favor of the monster hunter."

Monsters indeed, seeing Thanos join was an alarm for the Bratva. The Yakuza hired a mercenary? Or maybe he was with the law. He wasn't with them so they had to take him out with extreme prejudice.

The Bratva gangsters who weren't yet dead, wounded, or laying down fire on the Yakuza and Thanos moved to the delivery truck nonchalantly, a few climbing inside to grab weapons. Bigger weapons.

Assault rifles, grenades, and a grenade launcher. They passed out the weapons, hoping to give their people an advantage. The assault rifles were put to use immediately, the Bratva hoping to turn anyone not on their side into Swiss cheese.

Meanwhile, Bachmann shoved a gun into the face of a couple hiding in their car. They were dressed up, clearly on their way to somewhere fancy before the streets erupted into violence. "I'm going to get in, you're going to drive to Solinus City." He told them, keeping the pistol trained on them as he climbed into the back seat.

"Move it!" He shouted, the car pulling a U-turn to find an alternate route out of the neighborhood and the city. The only people who knew of Bachmann's involvement were already in the mix or on the criminal side of the law, he was getting away clean with Jackson and the Batman distracted.
