It were nights like that Miles wishes his family wasn’t so well-known. He was forced to be at a ceremony for his fathers’ latest invention. He wasn’t even sure what his father had created, all he knew was that he was wasting his time here when he could’ve been with friends. His father stood at the podium thanking his colleagues and his families support for making all this possible. Miles sat at the table with chin in his hand, trying to keep himself up. He put his down for what he believed to be no longer than a minute and fell asleep.
“Hey,” Miles felt a nudge in his side that he assumed was his sister warning him that the speech was over and that it was time to go home.
“Wake up!” He groaned and tried to put his head up. But it was then that he realized that he wasn’t asleep at a table, but on a bed. He had no idea. He opened his eyes, and rolled over, falling off the bed with a yelp. The moment he hit the floor, it seemed as though his entire life had disappeared and new one took its place. Memories of a life unknown to Miles flooded his brain, leaving him confused and dazed on the floor.
“What the hell? Who are you? Where am I? What the hell is going on? Where’s my family?” He looked down at his legs to notice he was no longer wearing a suit, instead he was in an
outfit that looked like he spent the night on the town.
“Did I-” He looked around very confused about the current situation he was in.
“Did I sleep with you?” Miles tried to recall who this woman was in front of him but of all the memories that entered his brain when he fell to the floor, she was not one of them.
