Kylie was glad Gracie didn't really say anything. She was comfortable telling her anything, honestly, and if there was one person in the world that could make her feel better, it was Gracie, but she really didn't feel like talking about it. At least not at a the moment. It was still a shock to her so it hadn't completely sunk in yet, and she knew when it did, she'd probably be a mess. Besides, she knew if Grace was in her right mind, she'd march right back inside to beat the shit out of Tyler, and that was the last thing she wanted. If Tyler had been able to kill her, he wouldn't even blink before killing Gracie.
Thankfully though, Gracie just nodded and flicked her cigarette away, digging through her purse for her keys and Kylie could tell she was struggling. Part of her was extremely pissed at the guy who'd given her the pill for being an ass and trying to take advantage of her, but after what had happened with Tyler, she wasn't stupid enough to cause trouble with any of these people. She didn't know who they were, but they were dangerous. All of them. That much was obvious.
Finally, Gracie managed to get her keys out and tossed them to her. Kylie thanked whatever god was out there that she was sober so she could get them out of there and they didn't get stuck there. The last thing she wanted was to stay. Tyler had practically threatened her to get lost, and she wasn't taking her chances. She wanted out of there. She wanted to run a scalding got bath and sleep on an actual bed, and drink until she either forgot Tyler or passed out in the safety of a hotel room with just herself and Grace.
They made their way out to the car and Kylie unlocked it and reached for the handle just as someone came running out of the house towards them. “Gracie! Kylie wait!” Kylie hesitated, glancing at Gracie briefly before up at Marshall, Tyler's younger brother. It had been so long since she'd seen him and she'd been too preoccupied with Tyler to really notice him before, but he no longer looked like Tyler's kid brother, that was for sure.
“Kylie fuck him. Let’s go.” Gracie breathed, and Kylie sighed and looked her over before glancing back at Marshall. She couldn't believe what she was doing.
"Just get in the car Grace." She breathed. "I just want to know what he wants." She whispered to her friend before walking around to the hood of the car and leaning against it, crossing her arms in front of her as she looked Marshall over. "What do you want Marshall? Tyler made it pretty fucking clear he doesn't want us here so you've got one minute and then we're leaving." She said sternly, wanting him to know she had no intentions of staying.
Tyler just shrugged and Matt looked him over. He looked like he was in a hurry to get somewhere. “Nothing’s going on. Just gotta find Marsh, before he get’s himself into trouble.” He said honestly and Matt nodded, understanding. “As far as the big guy, he won’t be here till everyone is shit faced, he doesn’t want anyone remembering he was here, you know how he is.” Tyler rolled his eyes and Matt sighed.
Part of him was glad Chelsea wouldn't be at the party until later and she wouldn't be there for too terribly long, but it wasn't too comforting, seeing at being at the boss's house all day wasn't a whole hell of a lot better. He did want to see her though. He'd missed her more than he'd ever admit, so, even though she'd get pissed at him, he was still dying to talk to her again and make sure she was okay.
“You enjoying the party?” He smirked wickedly and Matt smirked back and nodded. “Do me a favor, fuck my girl so she’ll leave me the hell alone." He joked and Matt laughed. Bunny could be annoying as shit. He knew that just by watching her and Tyler together. Honestly, he was surprised Tyler, with as short of a temper as he had, hadn't strangled her yet.
"Unfortunately, if I do that, she'll probably start following me around too." He laughed. "But I'll get her shit-faced enough she passes out and leaves you alone the rest of the night." He nodded, glancing towards the front door. "I saw your brother heading out front by the way." He offered. "See ya later man." He shrugged before slipping into the crowd to find Bunny and keep her preoccupied like he'd said.
