Della followed Kody, while checking her purse and finding an already-written-out check waiting in her bag, her feet having their own sense of direction as they walked to get Olivia's photos taken. She marveled at the shop as the lights turned on, despite having a feeling of déjà vu. Olivia, laughing, ran to play with the toys. Della turned, check already in hand, and handed it to Kody, smiling at Olivia giggling over a teddy bear. She craned her neck over to the swing hanging from the ceiling and said, "Olivia's never going to want to leave if you set her on that swing, I hope you know that," with a smile, and continued, "Her school is asking for a yearbook photographer to come and take pictures of the kids in their classrooms, and I suggested you. Would you do it?"
While waiting for answer that would hopefully be a yes, Della tapped her fingers on the counter top, humming along with the beat. What song is this? Della asked herself, before remembering. It's Nothing To Do. You love The Well Pennies. She started singing along as she tapped, well aware of her horrible singing voice. "I go where the wind goes. Whatever I build inside my head. Lately, I've got a whole light... what are the lyrics? Da-rn it. I thought I knew the lyrics better than that," Della mumbled to herself.
