Stomping back to her resting spot, snapping small twigs beneath her bare feet in her wake, Lif huffed and pouted, losing her hands into fists as she dug at her palms, mumblig angrily to herself, "Stupid mermaids, The never appreciate a good show" she say as she reached up and peeled off another piece of skin, then another, and another, "Any now I'm peeling. All for nothing" she say, her voice a soft growl as she left trail of peeled skin behind her. Lifaria hated peeling, it felt gross, and it certainly was not beautiful. She finally made her way back to the patch of grass she had slept in and reached into the tree behind it, pulling out a pile of neatly folded clothes. Lif smiled at her smart hiding place that apparently no-one could ever find, and then dressed in her clothes, brushing off a few large flakes of skin from her arm and legs, then making herself fully-peeled apart from a few small pieces of skin on her back and stomach.
Confident enough, Lif began the trek to find the concrete path that lead to the town, padding along in her barefeet- she had forgotten to hide her shoes but it didn't bother her, she spent most of her time in the forest, so her feet became used to mostly any terrain. Lifaria adjusted the bust of her black tanktop, then peered down to check her shorts as she walked, making sure they didn't crease at any odd angles. Lifaria made her way to the town center, giving a sweet and innocent smile to those she passed, but then she would slow her pace, peering into the butchers, trying to see what was happening inside. The was a girl, who she had never seen before, the butcher - she had tried to impress a few times by cooking the meat in his shop, and another man, who she had seen around but didn't know the name of.
Lif walked over and placed a hand on her hip, looking from the butcher to the girl, the girl to the butcher, then to the other man. She'd smirk softly and use her free hand to push away a small piece of her hair that bothered her,"Things getting heated over here?" she'd say, snickering softly at her own joke. It was funny to her, but to anyone who didn't know what she was it would just confuse them.
