You find yourself in the grandiose entrance to Wing City, underneath a majestic and massive archway stretching the width of the street. Before you is the expanse of Main Street, and to the south is the regions sitting outside of the city.
“Ehrm… why don’t you tell him how you really feel? I mean, I don’t know the Norrington you know, but surely he’s not that big of an ass?” Gabrielle sighed, glad that Bo had finally stopped crying. She hoped that Norrington really did love Bo, but she couldn’t say for sure. At the mention of her own father, she only shrugged with a slight snort.
“Eh, he’s never around anyways… but he really wasn’t when we were kids either. I kind of just got used to it being my sis and I. That’s probably why Renée convinced me to pursue modeling instead of staying here and being a fighter like her. But, I’m back now… and I need some training or I’m going to end up being seriously hurt. I mean, I’ve got a button that goes to Norrington and one that goes to Jegun’s beeper, but… that won’t do me any good if I’m in the thick of something. I’ve got to be able to protect myself.” Gabrielle leaned back, desperately trying to ignore the pain shooting through her body.
It was about that time that she realized or rather, remembered her nose was broken. Glancing down to her ankle once the adrenaline left her body, she realized that the one time that Bo had grabbed for it with her claws, actually succeeded and she was amazed she had been able to move on it as shredded as the flesh and muscle looked. Grimacing, she dropped onto her back and groaned softly.
“Sure, boxing gloves would be great. Not today though… maybe later?” She started to squeeze the bridge of her nose, but managed to stop just before going through the motion.
