“Err… naw, I deserved it. I came at you wanting a fight. I was just so mad because I tried to fight in the bar and it went south and then I tried to go to this gym and he said no because of who my dad was… so I was just pissed.”
Gabrielle just sighed, struggling to sit back up. Did her ribs get nailed at some point in time, because they hurt like hell. The more she thought about it, the more Gabby realized she couldn’t remember half of the fight that just happened. Hopefully that was due to adrenaline and nothing else. Shaking her head at the offer of a safe house, she just ended up wincing in pain.
“Did you nail my ribs or something? They hurt, a lot. Maybe it was when you fell on top of me. No thanks on the safe house. I’m going to sit him for a few more minutes and then head back to the bar. I just need to sleep in my bed and I’ll be fine.”
