Adriana Maud
"Hi, don't think I caught your name? Figure if we're gonna share this first leg of my journey, might as well get to know each other right?" The dark haired man, Stephen, said to Adriana. She glanced up from her sketch book and smiled.
“I didn't throw it,” she said as she paused to grin at him “but my name is Adriana Maud…So this is your first flight huh?” She asked as she looked back at her sketch then back up at him. She felt a flare of slight embarrassment as she realized the sketch she had started resembled him quite a bit….though she did tend to draw her inspiration from reality. She closed her book and turned her full attention to him. She really didn't mind having someone to converse with on this long flight.
“It’s not as scary as you would think. I've been all around the world…and you’re more likely to die in a car accident than in a plane crash…though I guess that isn't’t really a comforting statistic huh?” Adriana said with a shrug. Honestly when she first started flying she hated it because she had no control over anything that happened…but after so many years of traveling around the world and flight being the fastest way to travel…she just kind of got used to it and kind of enjoyed it.
“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” Adriana said quoting the great Leonardo da Vinci, though she doubted anyone would pick up on it.
"Anywho....Your name was Stephen correct? It means crowned one...usually crowned in victory...interesting." Adriana said.
"Sorry, I have a bad habit of spouting random facts." she said with a sheepish smile
